We're taking a step back in time for this next blog and going to a venue that we spent many years performing at and it's stood the test of time. The location is an excellent area conveniently located right next to I-95, downtown at the gardens, the mall and numerous shopping & restaurants and much more. Your guests will love how easily they can walk to many places in the area. Welcome to the DoubleTree Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. It's a classic venue that's been on the same corner of PGA Blvd for the last 20 plus years. It's a gorgeous hotel and has a restaurant, pool and excellent courtyard, bar and amenities. Having your wedding reception, reunion, sweet 16, birthday or special event here is fun, entertaining and our guests will enjoy it. As you pull into the Double Tree there's an overhang carport for dropping people off, especially convenient for the senior crowd or kids, weather and more. You can pull right up to the main entrance and guests can walk right in. The restrooms are located right up front by the lobby and the restaurant is located next to them.
As you head down the hallway the hotel bar area is one side and the main ballroom is on the other side. This room can be divided up into smaller rooms or can be one large open room to hold a large guest count. The room has elegant chandeliers and lighting that can be dimmed depending on the setting and a dance floor can be setup for you as well. Comfortably you can have smaller events of 25-50 people and the space can be open to 150 people with buffet or sitdown, additional gift tables or your entertainment too. Additionally the food is prepared in-house at Double Tree and can be setup outside in the main hallway separating the ballroom party from the buffet line. There's plenty of room to include uplights and a photo booth for your event too.
For weddings you can have your ceremony out in the garden pavilion or in a different room if there's weather issues and you can have your cocktail hour outside on the patio overlooking the pool area. It's nice to have these options for your guests so that they can enjoy a little of everything at Double Tree. They also have a fantastic events center attached to the hotel as an additional building that can be reserved for events of all types. They house business meetings, parties and more. It's a very modern looking building and you'll like the layout.
Back to the patio area near the pool, it's a very large open place to have your cocktail hour or get together and it's till a covered place. Guests will be able to go inside very easily. They can also setup a mobile beverage bar and food anywhere you would like too. You'll enjoy DoubleTree Palm Beach Gardens and all it has to offer. There's lots of parking for your event, all the way around the building and they have group rates for rooms too.
